Registered Nurse - Weekend SOC - Senior Living Visits
About The Position
BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a Per Diem opportunity to service clients within senior living communities in Baltimore County, Carroll County, and Harford County, MD. This role focuses on home health admissions and offers a unique opportunity to provide rehabilitative care and skilled nursing to clients, enabling them to receive necessary medical care while remaining at home. The position requires availability on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, or Saturdays and Sundays between 8:30 am and 5:00 pm. Current Home Health and Oasis experience are required.
Requirements
- A current license as a Registered Nurse in Maryland.
- A minimum of one year of recent, verifiable clinical (medical/surgical) experience.
- Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by school transcript or diploma.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Solid computer skills; prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
- Ability to travel to cases as assigned.
- Current Home Health and Oasis experience are required.
Nice To Haves
- Prior home care experience strongly preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Follow a designated care plan in accordance with patient's needs
- Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories
- Perform assigned duties, including administration of medication, wound care, treatments, and procedures
- Monitor clients' conditions; reporting changes to Clinical or Client Services Manager
- Follow up with, execute, and properly document doctors' orders
- Perform client assessments as necessary
- Case management and coordination
- Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations pertaining to client care management and services provided, utilizing a state-of-the-art touch pad tablet
