Registered Nurse (RN) Requirements: Job Description Registered nurses are expected to manage various responsibilities while delivering safe, competent, and compassionate care to diverse patient populations in settings such as hospitals, outpatient clinics, skilled nursing facilities, and rehabilitation centers. More specifically, RNs should be able to: • Demonstrate clinical judgment within an evidence-based practice. • Collaborate with other healthcare staff to improve patient outcomes. • Deliver care that meets the unique faith and cultural needs of patients. • Apply problem-solving and critical thinking skills in all patient care situations. All Employers should adhere to CMS and local Department of Health guidance on Covid-19 vaccinations. Healthcare professionals (HCPs) must be up to date on all recommended Covid-19 vaccinations, including a booster dose when required. HCPs who are not up to date on Covid-19 vaccination doses may be required to undergo weekly testing and comply with mask mandates at ShiftMed’s client facilities. Vaccinated workers may still be subject to regular Covid-19 symptom screenings including temperature and symptom checks.
