About The Position

This role is for a Registered Nurse in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at Peyton Manning Children's Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. The position is full-time, nights. The nurse will be responsible for direct patient care and monitoring of pediatric intensive care patients, including continuous clinical assessment. They will manage life support, ensure pharmacological accuracy, and maintain vascular integrity through advanced technical interventions. The role also involves serving as a clinical liaison, providing holistic advocacy and ethical support with an emphasis on family-centered care. Additionally, the nurse will participate in rapid response situations, collaborate with emergency leadership and interdisciplinary partners, and uphold unit safety standards.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire required.
