About The Position

This position is for a Registered Nurse on the Psych Unit at Putnam Hospital Center. A minimum commitment of 6 shifts per 42-day schedule is required. Northwell is a large not-for-profit health system in the Northeast, serving residents of New York and Connecticut with 28 hospitals and over 1,000 outpatient facilities. Putnam Hospital is a 164-bed acute care hospital that has been serving the local community in Carmel, New York for 60 years. They acquire, maintain, and demonstrate current knowledge and competency in nursing practice, a commitment to service excellence and quality improvement, and a leadership role through clinical practice, supervision, and teaching. The nurse demonstrates competent clinical and decision-making skills and the ability to assess, treat, and care for the unique needs of geriatric patients.

Requirements

Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
Currently licensed as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State.
BLS required.
