Requirements

• Current, active North Carolina Registered Nurse (RN) License
• Current CPR certification preferred
• Long-term care, rehabilitation, or skilled nursing experience preferred but not required
• Strong clinical assessment, leadership, and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive nursing care for residents in accordance with physician orders and individualized care plans.
• Assess, monitor, and document resident conditions, identifying changes and implementing appropriate interventions.
• Administer medications, treatments, and nursing procedures safely and accurately.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, nursing staff, residents, and families to ensure optimal care outcomes.
• Lead and supervise Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).
• Participate in care planning, admissions, discharges, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
• Promote a culture of compassion, professionalism, and excellence in resident care.
