About The Position

Haxtun Hospital District is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Acute Care Unit (ECU) providing compassionate, patient-centered care through assessments, care planning, documentation, and collaboration with the healthcare team while prioritizing patient safety and quality care. As a Registered Nurse with our team, you'll be at the heart of patient care. You will conduct thorough patient assessments, document patient data, and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to create comprehensive care plans. With a focus on patient safety, you will also respond to emergency situations and communicate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure a seamless experience and a high level of patient satisfaction.

Requirements

BSN from four-year college or university or ADN program with minimum of one (1) year related experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Current and valid licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Colorado
Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC)
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Nice To Haves

1 (one) year experience in healthcare setting
Must possess required certifications or be able to obtain within 120 days.
