About The Position

Under general supervision, the Registered Nurse II provides individualized, goal-directed patient care to patients and families at a competent level, applying the principles and practices of the nursing process. The nurse delivers safe and effective care and works with other members of the health care team to achieve desired results.

Requirements

• Associate degree in nursing.
• At least one year of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or a recognized equivalent, or American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required.
• Ability to perform the listed physical and mental job functions, including lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds unassisted, working rotating shifts, and working overtime as required.

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
