About The Position

United Health Services is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Methadone Maintenance Program on Memorial 4 at Binghamton General Hospital. This fast-paced outpatient setting provides care to more than 300 patients daily and plays a vital role in supporting individuals on their recovery journey. In this position, you will perform nursing assessments, administer and dose medications, manage medication inventory and delivery processes, monitor patient progress, and provide compassionate, patient-centered care. Working alongside physicians, counselors, and interdisciplinary team members, you will help ensure the safe and effective delivery of treatment while building meaningful relationships with patients. This role is ideal for nurses who thrive in a high-volume, high-responsibility environment and possess exceptional organizational skills, clinical judgment, and attention to detail. Success in this position requires the ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain strict regulatory compliance, accurately handle controlled substances, and communicate effectively with both patients and care team members. Requirements

  • A graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
  • Current NYS RN License

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing
  • Previous clinical nursing experience in an acute care or ambulatory setting
  • Professional certification in a related nursing specialty
  • Relevant skills certification (i.e., ACLS, PALS, TNCC) as required by home unit assigned.
