Nurse Hiring Event - RN - September 10th
About The Position
AdventHealth Shawnee Mission is hosting a hiring event on September 10th from 3pm to 6pm for Registered Nurse and future Graduate Nurse openings. This event will take place in our Rogers Conference Center. We are offering a sign-on bonus up to $20,000 for eligible positions, increased night differentials to $6/hour, and new pay rates for RN positions. Graduate Nurses will start at $35.50/hour for inpatient areas. Several inpatient units will be attending, including ICU, Cardiac Care Unit, Med Surg, Ortho, Oncology, Behavioral, PCU, Heart Neuro Vascular Unit, Emergency Department, Labor and Delivery, Mother Baby, and NICU.
Requirements
- Associate's of Nursing Required
- Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS)
- Organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures
- Ability to work as a Team player within a unit
- Effective verbal and oral communication and problem-solving skills
- EKG (based on patient ; see document EKG and Advanced Life Support Requirements)
- Must be fluent in English (read, verbal and written skills)
- Basic computer skills – must be able to navigate Microsoft windows based programs
- Must be able to use a high level of abstract reasoning
