Registered Nurse (RN) PT- Emergency Department- Days
About The Position
The Emergency Department is a 24-bed unit with a team focused approach to caring for patients. In our Emergency Department, we care for all age groups from pediatrics to geriatrics. Our ED team works in unison to stabilize patients who present for a variety of conditions ranging from non-urgent to emergent. We average around 24,000+ patient visits per year. As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
- ACLS, PALS, ASLS, and NIHSS are required within 6 months of hire
Nice To Haves
- 1-2 years RN experience preferred
