About The Position

Baptist Health is hiring a Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at Baptist Emergency at Clay in Fleming Island, FL. This is a full-time Night shift opportunity. This emergency center provides efficient, patient-centered care to Clay County and surrounding communities. This role is ideal for nurses who thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Provides for patient needs as recognized through use of the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) and the mission statement; organization and supervision of care provided by supportive personnel; coordination of care provided by ancillary services • Including patients and significant others (SO)/families in developing an individualized plan of care • Education of patients/SO/families to their disease process and plan of care • Serves as patient advocate and responsible for providing care to patients requiring treatment of any medical, surgical, or other condition, including chronic medical and minor injuries or illnesses. Requirements

  • 1–2 years Medical Surgical Nursing Experience
  • Telemetry Experience
  • Hospital Experience
  • Associate of Science in Nursing
  • Licensed Registered Nurse
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Certification- ACLS required within 6 months for the Adult EDs and Free Standing EDs
  • PALS required within 1 year of hire for the Free Standing EDs and required within 6 months for WCH ED.
