About The Position

This role is for a Registered Nurse (RN) in Pediatric Infusion and Specialty Clinics at the Children’s Hospital Battle Building - Outpatient. The position requires a capable clinician focused on expanding knowledge and skills, who consistently provides effective direct care as part of an interdisciplinary team to a variety of complex patients. The nurse will manage care and implement treatment plans at a refined skill level in collaboration with patients, their families, physicians, and other members of the health care team. The role involves seeking and providing feedback for improved clinical practice and assumes a beginning leadership role with a need for mentoring in this process. Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program required.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing required within 5 years of hire.
  • 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Licensed to Practice as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required.
