Registered Nurse - Pediatric Float Pool - P/T with Benefits Nights
About The Position
The Registered Nurse provides individualized, safe, high-quality patient care in accordance with current evidence-based research, nursing policies, and standards of care. The role includes communicating with patients, nursing colleagues, and other healthcare team members about patient status, care provided, and treatment plans; administering medication with bar-scanning and documentation technologies; and maintaining ongoing point-of-care electronic documentation of assessments, care plans, interventions, and evaluations. The nurse also provides education to patients and families to support health, wellness, and disease management, and participates in multidisciplinary discharge planning to support safe transitions and continuity of care.
Requirements
- Current and valid New Jersey nursing license.
- Active BLS/CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
- At least one year of recent pediatric, PICU, or NICU RN experience.
- BSN in progress and/or willingness to obtain a BSN within three years of hire.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing patient needs.
- Strong accountability for improving the lives of patients and caregivers.

- Ability and passion to provide high-quality, patient-focused care.
Responsibilities
