About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at Texas Health Denton will bring their passion to a team-based environment that operates on lean principles and relies heavily on a team atmosphere and individual performance. Requirements

Nursing Diploma Nursing required OR Associate's Degree Nursing required OR Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred
1 year experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of an RN residency program required
RN - Registered Nurse upon hire required
BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 days required
PALS – Pediatric Advanced Life Support if working in inpatient recovery 90 days required

Nice To Haves

1 year previous PACU experience or Critical Care experience (ICU or ED) preferred
