About The Position
The Registered Nurse works in the operating room at UCSF Medical Center and is responsible for maintaining the knowledge and abilities essential to performing the stated behaviors. The nurse carries out legal responsibilities within the scope of the Nurse Practice Act and is accountable to the NURSE SVC SUPV 2 for overall work performance. The position requires flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Medical Center locations as needed.
Requirements
- At least two years of recent RN clinical experience in an inpatient operating room.
- Recent experience, within the last six months, circulating and/or scrubbing Orthopedic, Pulmonary, ENT, Endocrine, and GYN procedures in an inpatient setting.
- Flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Medical Center locations as needed.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of California.
- Current American Heart Association CPR for healthcare providers.

- Scrub experience.
