About The Position

As a Registered Nurse (RN), you provide patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Under the supervision of Charge Nurse(s), you provide patient education and activities consistent with your competencies and education. The role requires excellent communication and critical thinking skills to support optimal patient outcomes. The organization offers ongoing training and development opportunities for licensed and unlicensed healthcare team members, along with clinical resources for training, education, and point-of-care support. This position is available only to people who reside in the United States.

Requirements

Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
Have and maintain current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment.
Must be able to obtain and maintain CPR certification.

Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.

Nice To Haves

A minimum of one year of clinic experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist in assessing and planning individual treatment programs, consulting with Charge Nurse(s) and other staff as necessary.
Implement medical plans by administering medications, obtaining diagnostic tests, and assisting with medical or minor surgical procedures as needed.
Count controlled substances and implement clinical and technical aspects of care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols.
Document nursing encounters using SOAP charting as required by policy and attend mandatory staff meetings and training.
Communicate information to nursing staff, physicians, health care unit supervisory personnel, or other staff as necessary.
Provide patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Provide patient education and activities in accordance with competencies and education.
