About The Position

A “Registered Nurse” is a person who holds a valid Indiana license, and who bears primary responsibility and accountability for nursing practices based on specialized knowledge, judgment, and skill derived from the principles of biological, physical, and behavioral sciences. This role is for RN 1030 4 East- Medical Telemetry, working 36 hours weekly on the Day Shift from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM.

Requirements

Holds a valid Indiana license as a Registered Nurse.
Minimum education required: Associates, Bachelor's, or Masters Degree in Nursing.
Licensure in State of Indiana as a Registered Nurse.
Experience as determined by work area and hospital in order to acquire and effectively utilize knowledge of unit and departmental policies and procedures.
Must meet established quality and quantity standards for the role.
Recognizes and reinforces positive efforts of the healthcare team and co-workers.
Addresses issues tactfully and in a timely manner.
Interpersonal skills to instruct and comfort patients and their families, and maintain communication with a variety of internal and external staff.
