Registered Nurse (RN) Behavioral Health ED/OBS
About The Position
The Registered Nurse provides and coordinates comprehensive patient care through the nursing process, delivering safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. The RN uses evidence-based practice, clinical decision-making, compassionate and skilled communication, and leads efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum. The position is based in a free-standing behavioral health facility with a Behavioral Health Emergency Department and inpatient units. The RN rotates among ED/Observation areas, including triage, the secure ED, and observation, caring for adults and pediatric patients.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
