About The Position

Life Care Center of Evergreen is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to join their team. This facility, located just west of Lakewood, is a 5-star rated facility by CMS and has a 4.7 Google Star Rating. They are recognized by US News and Review for Best Nursing Home for 2026 and are home to Colorado's 2025 CNA of the year. Their mission is to do right and proper by residents, associates, and themselves, supporting associates' desire to serve seniors. They welcome new nurses to the Long Term Care setting and offer support from their 'DreamTeam'. Life Care Center of Evergreen is affiliated with Life Care Centers of America, a privately owned industry leader in healthcare with over 200 locations. The RN will be an important member of the interdisciplinary team, delivering quality nursing care to patients to help them attain or maintain the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being. This includes evaluating patient needs through ongoing assessment and revising care plans based on changes in patient condition. The role also involves providing clinical supervision to CNAs and LPNs on a daily basis.

Requirements

  • Nursing diploma (associate’s or bachelor’s degree in nursing)
  • Currently licensed/registered in applicable State.
  • Must maintain an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing throughout employment.
  • CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation. CPR certification must remain current during employment.

Nice To Haves

  • One (1) year skilled nursing experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Deliver quality nursing care to patients through interpersonal contact.
  • Provide care and services to allow patients to attain or maintain the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.
  • Evaluate patient needs through ongoing assessment.
  • Revise care plans based on changes in the patient’s condition.
  • Provide clinical supervision to CNAs and LPNs on a daily basis.
  • Implement and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the department.
  • Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients.
  • Concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgment.
  • Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team.
