Requirements
- Current Massachusetts RN license and BLS certification required.
- Strong assessment, communication, and patient education skills, with proficiency in electronic medical records.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively in a fast paced clinical environment.
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of one year of RN experience preferred
- Experience in women's health, OB/GYN, fertility, ambulatory care, PACU, or procedural nursing preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Support patients through telephone triage, education on treatment plans, medications, injections, and procedures, and pre and post operative follow up.
- Coordinate diagnostic testing and treatment schedules for patients beginning fertility treatment cycles, and communicate with patients by phone and Patient Portal in collaboration with physicians.
- Document patient interactions accurately in the EMR, and coordinate care with satellite offices and outside laboratories.
- Lead patient orientation and injection teaching sessions, and train to serve as the Reviewing RN for daily cycle monitoring.
- Provide PACU recovery care following egg retrievals and other office based procedures, including assessment, monitoring, discharge teaching, and documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians, medical assistants, and the broader clinical team to deliver safe, compassionate, and efficient patient care.
