Registered Nurse RN Intermediate Care (Stepdown)

About The Position

The Registered Nurse protects, promotes, and restores health and wellness while practicing at the highest level of RN licensure. The role collaborates with providers and multidisciplinary care team members to coordinate care across the continuum. The RN assesses and supports patients’ physical symptoms, provides psychological support to patients, friends, and families, mentors assigned team members, promotes best practices, and maintains a professional disposition. The RN Hospital Inpatient/ED works in units that provide care 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Requirements

Current Registered Nurse licensure from the State Board of Nursing in the appropriate state (Illinois or Michigan).
Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification before the employment start date.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
Experience as an RN in a healthcare environment.
Basic proficiency with Electronic Medical Records and Microsoft applications.
