About The Position

The Registered Nurse is the treatment team member who is responsible for overseeing all nursing duties and related nursing activities for clients. The Registered Nurse is also responsible for the supervision of the nursing department staff assigned to their respective shift. The facility is a 24/7 walk-in outpatient urgent care center providing rapid mental health evaluations, crisis intervention, and medication support. The length of stay is short-term stabilization (up to 24 hours) and serves up to 12 adults (18 + ) and 6 adolescents (ages 13-17).

Requirements

Valid California Registered Nurse (RN) License
Current CPR Certification
Current First Aid Certification
Valid California Driver's License
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Ability to successfully pass the facility Medication Test

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree preferred
One (1) year of experience in a mental health care setting working with seriously emotionally disturbed children, adolescents, and adults preferred
One (1) year of supervisory experience preferred
