About The Position

Join Baylor Scott and White Medical Center - Irving as a Registered Nurse on Tower 3-3, a medical/surgical unit providing care to patients with a variety of medical and surgical issues. This unit is a small but mighty team that strives to provide high-quality and compassionate care. The leadership team fosters an environment that supports learning, mentoring, and building every team member. The patient population commonly includes diagnoses such as cellulitis, pneumonia, cholecystitis, post-op appendectomies, diabetic foot infections, and electrolyte imbalances. The unit has 20 beds and a patient-to-staff ratio of 1:5. It is described as family and teamwork-oriented, with patient/staff safety as the top priority and an active Unit Based Council.

Requirements

• 1 year of Med/Surg/Tele RN experience
• Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program
• RN – Registered Nurse license
• BLS – Basic Life Support (required within 30 days of hire)
