Registered Nurse - Mood Disorder Unit - Full Time Nights
About The Position
Gracie Square Hospital is a leading behavioral health facility in New York City providing comprehensive, personalized healthcare. Through our affiliation with NewYork-Presbyterian and Weill Cornell Medicine, we deliver innovative treatments, helping patients achieve meaningful recovery and and long-term well-being. This role involves working with individuals suffering from depression and bipolar disorders and other conditions manifesting mood symptoms. The Registered Nurse will perform various procedures and tasks essential to delivering top-notch patient-centered care, optimizing the patient experience, providing support throughout the continuum of care, and participating in initiatives to improve nursing practice performance. The position is full-time, working nights from 7:30 PM to 8:00 AM, including rotating weekends.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN)
- Current New York State RN license
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Excellent customer service skills
Nice To Haves
- At least one year of acute care RN experience in psych nursing
