About The Position
Seeking a Registered Nurse for Baptist Health ER & Urgent Care Sellersburg. This is a Full-Time, Mid Shift (11 AM - 11 PM) position. In this role, the RN will be responsible and accountable for direct comprehensive nursing care for the patient from admission to discharge. The Registered Nurse will function as an on-shift team member providing direct patient care to meet the needs of patients, families, and co-workers in an ER/Urgent Care setting. This hybrid emergency room and urgent care provides both types of care to patients conveniently under one roof. Patients will receive the appropriate level of care in a simple, cost-effective one-stop location. The emergency room will provide care on a 24/7 basis with transport services available to handle high-acuity emergency situations needing surgery. Nurses at this location will have a background or training in emergency care. On-site imaging and laboratory services are also available.
Requirements
- Graduate of approved nursing program.
- Current Indiana or compact state RN license.
- BLS for Healthcare Provider required.
- NIH Stroke Scale Certification required within 10 weeks of hire.
Nice To Haves
- PALS required within 12 months of hire.
- ACLS required within 12 months of hire.
- Previous ER experience preferred.
