About The Position

Ability Beyond is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to provide primary care nursing support for its adult group home in Beacon, New York, with possible opportunities to support the Carmel, New York location. The nurse will primarily work in the medically acute Howland Avenue program, a residential home for 14 people with intellectual and physical disabilities and medically complex needs. The home has 24-hour nursing coverage and provides an accessible, well-equipped setting with compassionate staff.

The position provides nursing oversight and coordinates care for people with developmental disabilities in residential group home and day program settings. The nurse advocates for high-quality clinical care through teaching, training, and audits; collaborates with direct-care staff, physicians, clinical team members, and other caregivers; and oversees medication administration and care documentation for an assigned caseload. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with no on-call responsibilities.
