About The Position

Franciscan Health is hiring an experienced Registered Nurse for its 14-bed Behavioral Health Unit at the Michigan City campus. The RN provides comprehensive patient and family care by listening to and assessing patients, developing and implementing plans of care, and reassessing and evaluating each patient. The unit offers a didactic learning experience in a fast-paced environment. The opening is for PRN day shifts, with rotating weekends and holidays; patient ratios depend on acuity. Travel is never or rarely required.

Requirements

• Associate degree from an accredited program required.
• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in Indiana or a state listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
• Experience as a nurse required.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is desirable.
