About The Position
Westgate Gardens Care Center is seeking compassionate and skilled Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our team on a Part-Time basis for AM and NOC shifts. If you are dedicated to delivering high-quality care and thrive in a team-oriented environment, we’d love to connect with you.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Current, active California RN license in good standing
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Strong clinical and assessment skills
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong documentation and organizational skills
Nice To Haves
- Skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate nursing staff to ensure quality resident care
- Provide direct nursing care including assessments, treatments, and medication administration
- Monitor residents’ conditions and report changes to physicians and care team
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation in medical records
- Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges
- Participate in care planning and interdisciplinary team meetings
- Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory standards
- Make daily rounds to assess resident care and staff performance
- Respond to emergencies and provide appropriate interventions
- Support and guide CNAs and LVNs in delivering care
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members
