Registered Nurse (RN) Baylor Weekends | Tulsa LTACH
About The Position
This is a full-time opportunity to work Baylor shifts, requiring 36 weekend hours (12-hour shifts) while being paid for a standard 40-hour work week. The role involves utilizing the nursing process to deliver, direct, and supervise care to patients on the nursing unit. Responsibilities include interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, patient and family education for post-hospitalization, and accessing community resources. The position may also involve performing other related duties, including Charge Nurse responsibilities (ACLS certification required).
Requirements
- Current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates.
- Current BLS certification is required.
- Evidence of ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment.
- BLS and ACLS certifications must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment.
- Current ACLS certification is required for Charge Nurses.
- One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Utilizing the nursing process while delivering, directing and supervising care to patients admitted to the nursing unit.
- Planning, coordinating, and providing patient care to include interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization, and accessing community resources.
- May perform other related duties as assigned or requested, including Charge Nurse (ACLS certification required).
