Key responsibilities include involving patients and their families in developing individualized care plans, educating patients and families about their disease process and care plan, and serving as a patient advocate. The nurse is responsible for providing care to patients with any medical, surgical, or other condition, including chronic medical conditions and minor injuries or illnesses.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse
• Med/Surg experience
• Ability to use the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation)
• Ability to organize and supervise care provided by supportive personnel
• Ability to coordinate care with ancillary services
• Ability to involve patients and families in care planning
• Ability to educate patients and families
• Ability to serve as a patient advocate
• Ability to provide care for patients with medical, surgical, chronic, or minor conditions

Responsibilities
