About The Position

The Registered Nurse provides superior care to assigned residents in a skilled nursing setting. The role includes assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation of administered treatments, as well as participation in quality assurance and performance improvement activities. The RN supervises several staff members and builds relationships with residents, families, and other members of the health care team. The schedule consists of three 12-hour shifts, including every other weekend. The position is based at Vi at Bentley Village in Naples, Florida. Applicants must comply with Florida’s Care Provider Background Screening process.

Requirements

Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state where practicing.
Working knowledge of long-term care.
Current CPR certification approved by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
Current First Aid certification, or willingness and ability to become First Aid certified.
Maintain a courteous and professional manner when interacting with others.
Use a resident- and customer-focused approach to problem-solving and goal-setting.
Basic computer skills and/or willingness to learn.
Comply with Florida’s Care Provider Background Screening process.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree.
At least 6 months of experience working as a Registered Nurse.
Experience or continuing education in the care of elderly people.
