About The Position

This role is for a Registered Nurse in an Oncology Infusion Center. The nurse will deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care by consistently following established clinical protocols and organizational safety standards. They will manage and monitor individualized patient care plans, proactively tracking and communicating vital changes in patient conditions to the care team. The nurse will also coordinate multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure seamless, well-aligned, and comprehensive care for every patient, execute physician and nursing orders with precision, ensuring accurate treatment delivery and patient safety, and advocate for patients by assessing and coordinating their discharge planning needs early, ensuring a smooth and safe transition back to their communities.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
Requires at least 2 years of professional nursing experience.

Nice To Haves

Certification specializing in Chemotherapy.
Prior experience in outpatient infusion and oncology is highly desirable.
