About The Position

Ability to follow up closely and critically for standards and schedule. Capable of delegating and teaching to other(s). Seeking Registered Nurses & Licensed Vocational Nurses. Job duties include but are not limited to: Focus on the medical needs and treatment of patients in their home according to the active plan of care, as given by the physician and other appropriate personnel. Patient assessments. Administration of prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies. Coordination of care. Health promotion and teaching. Training of family members.

Requirements

• Licensed as an RN or LVN in the state of Texas
• Minimum 1 year experience
• Clean background and criminal record
• Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certification (CPR)
• Ability to work independently and in collaboration with Director of Nurses
• Understands regulatory compliance with state and federal regulations
• Physical ability to walk, lift, bend, kneel, see, hear, and speak clearly

Nice To Haves

• Hospital or hospice experience preferred
• 2 year experience preferred
• The Joint Commission preferred
