About The Position
DaVita is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide compassionate, high-quality care to patients with end-stage renal disease or chronic kidney conditions in an outpatient dialysis setting. Dialysis experience is not required, and paid training is provided. The role offers hands-on nursing work with medically complex patients and opportunities to build long-term patient relationships. The nurse may float to nearby clinics, and training may take place at a clinic other than the home location. A flexible schedule is required, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Requirements
- Hold an RN license in the state of practice.
- An Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) is required.
- Have basic computer proficiency.
- Have reliable transportation for potential floating.
Nice To Haves
- A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
- Experience in ICU, CCU, ER, or Med Surg.
- CNN or CDN certification.
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in an outpatient dialysis setting.
- Monitor patients, manage treatment plans, and respond to changes in their health.
- Collaborate with the clinical team, including Patient Care Technicians.
- Educate patients and families about kidney health and treatment options.
- Float to nearby clinics as needed.
