About The Position

The LCH 7A General Pediatric Unit is a 15-bed general pediatric unit. We see ages ranging from newborn to 18 and care for a wide variety of diagnosis including respiratory, gastrointestinal, surgical, endocrine and many more. Our unit prides ourselves on working well together while caring for the most precious little ones and their families! As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

Requirements

Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
At least 6 months of RN experience
Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
PALS certification is required within 6 months of hire.

Nice To Haves

Pediatric or hem/onc inpatient experience preferred.
