About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our float pool, specifically for MedSurg and Telemetry units. This position involves floating to various MedSurg areas as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in MedSurg and Telemetry nursing.
• Active nursing license verified through Nursys.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Experience with EPIC electronic health record system is mandatory.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Applicants must ensure their profiles include all required documents and demographic information, including a badge-appropriate photograph, a resume with no gaps greater than 60 days, a skills checklist, and references.
• Submission of certification cards is also necessary.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in MedSurg and Telemetry units.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, ensuring timely interventions and reporting.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Assist in the education and support of patients and their families.
