About The Position
DaVita is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide compassionate, high-quality care to patients with end-stage renal disease or chronic kidney conditions in an outpatient dialysis setting. Dialysis experience is not required; paid training is provided. The role offers hands-on nursing work with medically complex patients and opportunities to build long-term relationships with them. The schedule is flexible and may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. The nurse may float to nearby clinics as needed, and training may take place at a clinic other than the home location.
Requirements
- RN license in the state of practice.
- Associate degree in nursing (ADN).
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Reliable transportation for potential floating.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Experience in ICU, CCU, ER, or Med Surg.
- CNN or CDN certification.
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in an outpatient dialysis setting.
- Monitor patients, manage treatment plans, and respond to changes in their health.
- Collaborate with the clinical team, including Patient Care Technicians.
- Educate patients and families about kidney health and treatment options.
- Float to nearby clinics as needed.
