About The Position
Angels of Care Pediatric Home Health is hiring Registered Nurses to provide direct, one-on-one skilled nursing care to medically fragile children and young adults in their homes in Sterling, Colorado, and surrounding areas. Nurses serve as clinicians, advocates, educators, and partners to families navigating complex care needs. Care is delivered according to physician orders and each patient's plan of care, with a focus on personalized, high-quality care and patient safety. New RN graduates are welcome and training is provided. The organization is nurse-founded and clinically led, and has served the medically fragile community since 2000. Its stated values are Heart, Advocacy, Love, Outreach, and Speed. The position offers full-time, part-time, and PRN opportunities, flexible scheduling, and shifts of 8, 10, 12, or 16 hours. Days, nights, and weekend shifts are available, with 24/7 clinical and operational support.
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado.
- Ability to provide care in a home environment.
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
Nice To Haves
- Pediatric or home health experience.
- Experience with high-acuity care, including tracheostomy, ventilator, or G-tube care.
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled registered nursing care in a home health setting.
- Perform ongoing patient assessments and clinical evaluations.
- Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and therapies.
- Deliver care in accordance with physician orders and the plan of care.
- Coordinate care with physicians, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Educate patients and family members to support improved outcomes.
- Implement preventive measures to ensure patient safety and quality care.
- Respond appropriately to changes in a patient's condition.
