About The Position
Nulton Diagnostic & Treatment Center is seeking a full-time Psychiatric Registered Nurse to support its medical team in the Altoona, Pennsylvania office. The role involves completing psychiatric intakes for new patients, seeing patients individually in medication clinic, determining whether patients need to see a psychiatrist, returning telephone messages from patients, family members, or other providers, and performing other duties as assigned. The Psychiatric Nurse must meet the qualifications in at least three of the listed education, experience, and licensing categories. Mental health experience is preferred, and the candidate must be able to obtain Act 33, Act 34, and FBI clearances. Requirements
- Meet the qualifications in at least three of the listed education, experience, and licensing categories.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- A bachelor's degree from an accredited college with a major in psychology, social work, nursing, or another related human services field.
- Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Pennsylvania.
- At least 6 months of work experience in an inpatient or outpatient psychiatric facility.
- Must be able to obtain Act 33, Act 34, and FBI clearances.
