About The Position

Orlando Health is expanding its Perioperative Services team and seeking compassionate and skilled Registered Nurses for roles in the Operating Room (OR), Pre-Operative (PreOp), Perioperative Services, and Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). This is an opportunity to join a collaborative surgical team within a state-of-the-art, multi-specialty hospital. Requirements

Registered Nurse (RN) license
Experience in circulating, preparing patients for surgery, recovering patients after anesthesia, or providing perioperative care.

Responsibilities

Deliver safe, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care throughout the surgical experience.
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, surgical technologists, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure outstanding patient outcomes.
Monitor patient condition and respond appropriately to changes in clinical status.
Educate patients and families regarding procedures, recovery expectations, and discharge instructions.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
Promote patient safety, infection prevention, and quality improvement initiatives.
Support a positive, team-oriented environment focused on exceptional patient care.
