About The Position
The Registered Nurse performs patient care procedures and skills acquired through graduation from an accredited school of nursing. The RN assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates care according to hospital policies, procedures, protocols, and care standards. The RN provides direct and indirect patient care through supervision of select delegated nursing acts and collaboration with physicians and multidisciplinary team members. This position is on General Medical 6T, with a 0.8 FTE schedule on PM shifts and every-other-weekend and holiday rotation. The RN must be available for day-shift orientation during the first two weeks of employment.
Requirements
- Graduate of a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program; other nursing degrees may be considered individually.
- Previous patient care experience, which may be gained as a student in a clinical setting.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Wisconsin.
- Current CPR certification or eligibility to complete certification within three months of hire.
- Available to attend day-shift orientation during the first two weeks of employment.
