About The Position
Heritage Park is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time day or evening shift, Monday through Friday. Nurses develop meaningful relationships with residents and staff by learning their life stories and use their nursing skills to promote residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being. The role calls for supportive, collaborative care, strong teamwork, effective communication, and a commitment to senior care excellence.
Requirements
- Current and valid Registered Nurse license in Indiana.
- Proficient medication management skills.
- Ability to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident conditions.
- Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.
- Demonstrate C.A.R.E. values: Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence.
- Supportive presence, leadership, collaboration, teamwork, and interpersonal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
- Promote teamwork within the care team to meet residents’ needs.
- Collaborate with nursing and other facility teams to provide coordinated, comprehensive resident care.
- Work toward the shared goal of excellent resident care.
- Support a respectful and positive work environment.
- Manage medications proficiently.
- Conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in residents’ conditions.
- Demonstrate C.A.R.E. values toward residents, family members, customers, and staff.
