About The Position
US Heart and Vascular is in need of a Registered Nurse to join our team at Brimingham Heart Clinc located in Birmingham, AL. This is a Full Time position with a Day shift. The role requires an Associates Degree.
Requirements
- Current Alabama State Nursing License
Responsibilities
- Plan, implement, and coordinate patients’ plans of care.
- Make sure clinic notes are prepped properly by MA prior to clinic
- Convey patient problems, abnormal results to MD
- Relay test results and MD treatment plan to the patient
- Document in EMR all required information for each visit to patient
- Obtain pre-authorizations for medication, diagnostic testing, and hospital procedures.
- Performs all other related duties as assigned and serves in whatever other capacity deemed necessary
- May require travel to clinics in Gardendale, Pell City and Oneonta
