Requirements

Associate’s degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred.
Current RN license in good standing.
Current BLS certification.
Knowledge of nursing standards, practices, and applicable Nurse Practice Act.
Strong assessment, communication, organizational, and patient-care skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Nice To Haves

At least 1 year of OR and/or PACU nursing experience.
CPAN certification.
Experience with surgical procedures, scrub processes, and post-anesthesia care.
C-Arm/fluoroscopy experience.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic medical records.

Responsibilities

Assess patients, obtain nursing histories, monitor vital signs, and identify changes requiring intervention.
Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and healthcare team members.
Provide safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols.
Document assessments, interventions, patient responses, and outcomes accurately in the EMR.
When assigned to a surgical setting, prepare the OR and assist surgeons with instruments and supplies.
Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures and implement appropriate infection-control practices.
Operate C-Arm/fluoroscopy equipment under the guidance of the surgeon when required.
Maintain professional knowledge through continuing education and training.
Perform other duties as assigned.
