About The Position

This Registered Nurse position is for the Ear, Nose & Throat (ENT) Clinic at Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC). VUMC is a leading institution in Nashville, Tennessee, focused on patient care, education, and research. The role involves applying the nursing process to plan and implement patient care, including education and continuum of care planning. The nurse will communicate patient information to the healthcare team, collaborate on patient goals, and evaluate progress. The position is Monday-Friday, days only, with no nights, weekends, or holidays. The ENT clinic provides direct patient care and clinical support in a fast-paced otolaryngology setting. Responsibilities include patient intake, coordinating imaging, responding to patient messages, providing surgery education, assisting with procedures, administering medications, and high-level disinfection of endoscopes. The nurse will collaborate with providers and medical assistants to ensure safe, efficient, and patient-centered care.

Requirements

  • LIC-Registered Nurse - Licensure-Others
  • Relevant Work Experience
  • Graduate of an approved discipline specific program
  • 1 year of experience

Responsibilities

  • Applies the nursing process to plan and implement the care of patients, including patient and family education and continuum of care planning.
