Registered Nurse

DaVita•Reno, NV
•Onsite

About The Position

DaVita is hiring a Registered Nurse for a new Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) dialysis den in Reno, Nevada. The RN will work in a six-chair dialysis den, with a likely schedule of three days per week and no on-call duties. Training may take place at another DaVita site before the new den launches. This service brings dialysis care to patients residing in skilled nursing facilities, helping reduce the burden of transportation and avoidable healthcare costs. The RN is responsible for each patient's ongoing care and for keeping dialysis treatment on track. The role involves independently delivering best-practice dialysis care, troubleshooting treatment issues, making sound clinical decisions, and occasionally coordinating care with SNF staff. The RN also educates patients and families and supervises Dialysis Technicians who provide care alongside the RN. The work requires clinical judgment, multitasking, autonomy, and collaboration with cross-functional resources and SNF partners to meet clinical outcomes and service needs. DaVita provides paid classroom and hands-on dialysis training, comprehensive benefits, and development opportunities for nurses pursuing patient-facing or other career paths. The position is open for a minimum of three days.
