About The Position

Sexual Wellbeing Aotearoa is New Zealand’s leading sexual and reproductive health organisation, committed to providing equitable quality services and information. Their work is guided by a strategic vision of equity, access, and choice. This role is for a Registered Nurse to work across their Lower Hutt Clinic. The position is part-time with some weekend work, and the hours are Monday 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (8 hours), Thursday 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM (8 hours), Friday 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (8 hours), and one in four Saturdays from 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM (4 hours). Applicants need to specify their commitment to these hours in their cover letter and confirm it is for the Lower Hutt Clinic. Nurses at Sexual Wellbeing Aotearoa work in clinics and may provide virtual consultations, including telehealth services. There are no night or split shifts, and rosters are set, with flexibility offered for work-life balance. The organisation provides an excellent professional development and training program, including NZQA accredited courses, and offers progression pathways to designated prescribers and Nurse Practitioners. Requirements

  • New Zealand registered with a current practicing certificate.
  • Commitment to Sexual Wellbeing Aotearoa's philosophy and goals.
  • Ability to work the specified part-time hours including some weekend work.
  • Legal right to work in New Zealand.

Responsibilities

  • Work across the Lower Hutt Clinic.
