About The Position
Under general supervision, the Registered Nurse provides individualized, goal-directed patient care to patients and families at a competent level, using the principles and practices of the nursing process. The nurse delivers safe and effective care and works with other members of the health care team to achieve desired results. The position is in the MedSurg 2nd Floor cost center and is scheduled for 36 hours per week. A $30,000 sign-on bonus is offered for experienced hires.
Requirements
- Associate degree in nursing.
- Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers or an AHA-recognized equivalent, or American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required.
- Ability to work rotating shifts and overtime as required.
- Ability to perform the listed physical and mental functions, including standing, sitting, walking, lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds unassisted, and working effectively in stressful situations.

- Bachelor’s degree in nursing is preferred.
