About The Position

UW Medical Center-Montlake’s Maternal Fetal Medicine Clinic is hiring a Registered Nurse to provide care for patients with high-risk pregnancies. The clinic provides comprehensive pregnancy-related services, including ultrasounds, antenatal fetal testing, diabetes care during pregnancy, care for hypertensive disorders, and perinatal education. It also treats conditions such as placenta previa, pregnancy-related bleeding, and fetal development complications. The clinic’s providers oversee complex, high-risk pregnancies, while Certified Nurse Midwives and an OB Generalist care for low-risk patients.

This role supports complex obstetric care and helps patients and families receive high-quality care. The position is regular, full-time (100% FTE), and follows a 4x10 schedule on weekdays; exact workdays may vary. The clinic is closed nights, weekends, and holidays. Compensation is $46.97–$86.17 per hour, with additional hourly premiums for a BSN or higher degree and for certification, and overtime pay. Requirements

• Two years of recent obstetrical nursing experience.
• Active licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in Washington State.
• BLS.

Responsibilities

• Conduct non-stress tests and monitor fetal heartbeats.
• Assist providers with complex pregnancy care.
• Provide phone and walk-in triage for medically complex, high-risk obstetric patients.
• Assist with complex care coordination and continuity-of-care referrals.
• Answer patient calls and eCare messages.
• Educate patients and their families on symptom management.
• Provide obstetric education and teaching related to pregnancy or OB-related surgeries.
• Monitor patient flow in the clinic.
