Requirements
- Current NYS RN license.
- BSN required; MS preferred.
- Two (2) to four (4) years of recent, relevant nursing experience
- Current or in process of testing of certification in wound care by WOCNCB (i.e., CWCN, CWON, or CWOCN). Certification required within 12 months of hire.
- Current BLS.
Responsibilities
- Functions under the Administrator of Professional Practice, and in collaboration with the Nursing and Medical staff.
- Serves as a clinical resource and consultant for the acute and rehabilitative patients with selected disorders of the gastrointestinal, genitourinary, and integumentary systems.
- Provides the full scope of WOC nursing practice, including education, counseling, research, and administration.
